B. Study the way the word nail has been used the following sentences and explain what it means in each sentence.

C. Why do people code switch and code mix when communicating? (Any three reasons).

2. A. Write down any four characteristics features of stressed syllables in English language words.

B. How does stress in Kiswahili language words differ from that in English language? (Any one).

3. A. change each of the following words to the word class indicated in the brackets beside each word.

B. Use each of the newly formed word in B above in a correct English language sentence.
